The aim of the training was to enable trainers in the affiliated organisations to implement European and cross-cultural training activities and to participate in the development of those activities within our own organisations.
There were also following aims:
- Describe and compare Trade Union structures and thei adult education processes within Europe
- Develope multicultural issues in trade union education regarding the influence of cultural differences, gender, and the Trade Union cultures in a training environment
- Identify ETUC and ETUI functions and structure
- Put into practice different methodological approaches usen in Trade Union training
- Present a training session bearing in mind the importance of the existing Trade Union realities and values in Europe
- Analyse acquired training skills by using specific tools (self-assessment and portfolio) so as to lead to a validation of competences.
Making a portfolio of my own was a part of the training. We had short introduction to portfolio and we had some examples. And I made lot of notes all the time.
I've been working with my portfolio since summer 2012. I had pre-course activity and five sessions of activities at the training and I've analysed them. They are part one of this blog. The second one is about those activities I've done after the training here in VvL.
My English is not perfect but I hope you'll get the point.

Continuous activity: VvL's training team
The portfolio has been hard working job but now it's done. And for me it's been a huge challenge to write everything in English.
However the work will continue and I hope better and better trainings and training sessions for our members here in VvL.
Cheers for me!
